ahh I haven’t been keeping up with the spg fandom lately. I was going to make a last-minute fem-Hatchworth cosplay for Colossalcon, but I just found out he got a new coat!

I love the exaggerated coattails and those bolt buttons (and the whole collar area looks really cool with the neckline and diagonal shoulder seams), and it looks really well made from the close ups I’ve found floating in the tags.

oh man i’ve got my work cut out for me if I wanna reproduce a girly version in the next 17 days. dis gon b gud

Here’s my Bolin cosplay from Colossalcon 2012!

I was very meticulous in the construction of everything (the only thing I didn’t sew was the tank-top I’m wearing underneath all this) and it paid off, as I won Best Western in the Colossalcon Masquerade! I had a ton of fun in this costume and can’t wait to wear it again :)
