rabbit found a rabbit
OH MY GOD IT’S SO CUTE!
OH
OH WOW I
I JUST LOST EVERY TOOTH IN MY MOUTH
AHHHHHH DIE-AH-BEETUS.
Rabbit begins to feel it.
It was like this almost every time. Each time, standing on the stage beside his brothers, singing and chattering. In the midst of it all, he would feel it. Something that was not right. Something that did not belong.
It begins in the neck. Right where his collar meets the metal, he can feel it rub and rub and rub as he stands on the stage. He can feel the spotlights glint off of his copper, feel it begin to melt it and leave it trickling down his creaking jaw.
Next comes the edges of his temples, worn away by his hat. It feels like a slow, painless headache – wearing away, a constant growing throb that doesn’t hurt, but he can feel is there, feel the copper wearing thin. His goggles are heavy, drawing electricity from his system, draining him.
He is off the stage, and all of a sudden it’s altogether too warm. His boiler seems to convulse as steam hisses out from between his teeth. He pulls at the buttons on his vest. Soon enough it’s on the floor beside him, and breath rattles into his oxygen chambers.
Rabbit stares into the mirror. The bright blue oxidation seems to have grown, spreading farther across his cheeks, above his eyes. He reaches up to touch it and his metallic fingers come away smeared with the colour. He rubs furiously then, over and over, because the oxidation feels like it’s growing larger and larger and threatens to swallow him whole, and he keeps rubbing until he can almost feel it through the thin copper of his cheeks. He has almost worn through.
He leans in close to his reflection – touches his stained fingers to the glass. He slowly sits down. Springs and cogs whirr inside as he comes to rest on the wooden chair. He reaches up again, and peels away a thin layer of blue-tinged copper, rubbing it between his fingers, watching it crumble and dissipate.
Rabbit closes his eyes, and feels himself fall into the place between performances. “ It was a good sh-show, wasn’t it” he whispers.
Bunny opens her eyes, wiping off the last of the copper paint that coated her face. She stares into the mirror, at the tired eyes, the slightly blue-tinted skin around her cheeks, and sighs.
“Yes, yes it was.”
AAAAAAAAAAH!!!
this is amazing and HOLY SHIT

Hey everyone! I’ve suddenly realized that I have some SPG sketches which are just lying in different corners of my room without any attention, waiting to be accidentally thrown out. D: So, if you would like to get one of them (Tumblr spoiled me, that’s why I believe someone would like my works :D), you may be interested in this giveaway :)
All you need to do is: 1). like this post or\and make a reblog (not more than one) and 2). wait for a week. At April, 21st I will randomly choose 5 people and then mail them these pictures. I think that’s a better idea than forgetting about them again anyway. C:
P.S. On the other side of the Jon’s portrait there is also a sketch with Steve, btw :)
P.P.S. Each drawing can be found somewhere in my SPG art tag, if you want to look at it closer :3
